Be a patient Ambassador for Department. A nswer call lights using call bell system at nursing station. Distribute meal trays per direction of nurse. Provide warm wash cloths before meals. Assist patient with new room service meal system. Deliver in-between meal nourishments with nurse approval only. Maintain adequate supply of fresh coffee/beverages for patients and visitors. Maintain supply of fresh water and ice for patients with nurse approval only. Replenish tissues. Help staff unpack and restock unit supplies ie. linens, cups, lids... Maintain working stock of gloves, gowns, admission kits and isolation gowns. Run errands as requested. Assist transportation by escorting discharges to lobby. Empty discharge charts. Make up new chart. Offer patients newspapers, magazines and coloring books. Mount telemetry strips. Address discharged patient cards

Description
Premier Health is an "affinity" group for seniors. We offer educational information to the community and send out a newsletter with upcoming events 5 times a year. We also offer discounts in the hospital's cafeteria, bakery, gift shop and free parking in the Orlando campus. A newly added benefit to Premier Health members is the use of our Senior Resource Center located on the 3rd floor of the Medical Plaza.
