Come out to help the Northwest Arkansas Land Trust clean up litter at the Town Branch Preserve in south Fayetteville! This is a great opportunity to explore one of NWALT's newest preserves while improving habitat and water quality on the property. Town Branch Preserve is located along the Town Branch multi-use trail in Fayetteville. This small 0.7-acre "pocket preserve" protects riparian habitat along an urban stream that eventually flows into Beaver Lake, which is the drinking water source for Northwest Arkansas. It also provides habitat for local wildlife and offers a scenic backdrop for trail users. We will meet at 1:00 pm and work until 3:00 pm. Snacks, refreshments and equipment will be provided. Contact John at 479-750-8007 or john@beaverwatershedalliance.org with questions or to volunteer.
