No plans for Saturday? Why not volunteer at the ReStore and make a difference. The Aberdeen ReStore is part of Habitat for Humanity Susquehanna. It is a volunteer operated nonprofit store that takes donations of construction materials, appliances, and furniture. We sell the items at a reduce cost and use the profits to build affordable homes for low income families.
The Aberdeen ReStore is looking for service minded individuals to assist our donations processing and customer service departments. Individuals will be assisting customers and donors as well as keeping our main floor presentable. Volunteers are needed March 4 and 11 from 10am-2pm. Volunteers can work 2 or 4 Hour shifts. The Aberdeen ReStore is flexible if volunteers need a shorter or longer shift. This volunteer opportunity is great for anyone looking to meet new people, get some exercise, and even learn new skills!
