Did you know that Habitat for Humanity has a new retail store in the Bellevue area? Our home improvement stores sell everything from appliances to nails. Funds raised at the stores help build homes for local low-income families.
We are going to have a BIG Earth Day event this spring and we could use extra help making the day a success. If we have volunteers help for a day, it saves us money that we would otherwise have to use to pay for more staff. This savings will go towards building even more homes in our community!
If you are friendly, like helping people, and enjoy retail, please help us as a store volunteer. Bring your friends! We’re looking for help after the event on 25th in our Bellevue Store. We're going to need help organizing everything and restocking the Store!
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they arrive
- Help customers find great deals
- Help customers load their items in their cars
- Help restock the store shelves and keep them organized
Training and Benefits: We will teach you all about how our stores and programs work, so you can answer questions with confidence. This is a fun and active volunteer opportunity, where you can learn a great deal about home improvement. You’ll get a free Habitat T-shirt and a special discount coupon to the store. We have free parking available.
Hours: 9:30am - 6 pm with snacks at lunch time (Volunteers should bring a lunch and plan to stay on site.)

Description
Habitat for Humanity of Seattle-King County works to eliminate substandard housing through constructing, renovating and preserving homes; by advocating for fair and just housing policies; and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their shelter conditions.
