Little Tokyo Service Center (LTSC) provides a range of resources to Angeleno communities, an important part of that being affordable housing. LTSC's resident services department provides services to affordable housing residents to help them take control of their own lives. Some of this programming includes after school tutoring, financial literacy workshops, free tax preparation, civic education workshops, and case management.
The resident services department is looking to train and develop volunteer(s) who will assist with programming for our residents and community members. This would be a regular, ongoing volunteer position.
- assist with scheduling and confirming resident/community member appointments
- read and respond to phone and email inquiries
- organizing and updating contact information and files
- would need to come in at least 1-3 hours a week, either Thursday or Friday.
