Looking for a way to help the American Cancer Society? Join the planning committee for the annual Moonlight Gala! The event, which will be held at a private residence in August 2017, is expected to raise over $140,000.
Possible duties of committee members include:
Work with staff partner and chair to research, identify, solicit and obtain sponsors
Coordinate with committee members to cultivate and build relationships
Attend gala meetings and provide sponsorship updates
Ensure all amenities offered in packages are fulfilled
Ensure that all donors are thanked

The American Cancer Society is the nationwide community-based voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives, and diminishing suffering from cancer, through research education, advocacy and service. Our volunteers can perform a variety of tasks. They can assist with our Relay For Life planning committees located in their communities as well as assist in the local field office with various projects. We work hand-in-hand with cancer patients, their families, caregivers, friends and more as we assist them with the programs and information they need as they go through their cancer journey.
