The volunteer coordinator would assist garden staff in recuiting, screening and scheduling volunteers for upcoming opportunities and assist in planing and running volunteer training sessions. This position could be filled from home with occassional visits to the garden for training sessions. A horticulture background preferred but not required.

Description
A Northwest garden tucked away in a Federal Way neighborhood, the three acres of PowellsWood are nestled against another thirty-five acres of native successional forest. This forward looking garden harmoniously blends luxurious foliage color and the powerful lines of defining hedges against the backdrop of its native trees. It is English in inspiration, with spaces that range from woodland to sub-tropical in feel.
