Cross Creek Park, near Avella PA (Washington County) is opening a new walking trail in May 2017 thanks to the generosity of Range Resources. To help promote tourism to the area, a 5K is being planned for September 9, 2017. Volunteers are needed for the planning committee. Areas of involvement include Marketing and Promotion, Recruit walkers, Website development and maintenance, Sponsorship, Fundraising, T-shirt design, Graphic design, Day-of volunteers for parking, decorations, maintenance, registration, etc.
