Do you want to help rebuild our urban forest? Expand the canopy cover in West Eugene? Help us celebrate Oregon Arbor Day? Then we need your help to plant trees near Lark Park on Saturday, March 4. Volunteers will plant 35 street trees in an area that has experienced tree losses from multiple storm events, including the recent December ice storm. Volunteers should come dressed (and expecting) to get dirty and prepared for the weather. You can make a difference! Please contact Carrie Karl to RSVP at carrie.l.karl@ci.eugene.or.us or 541-682-4850.
