Are you and your pet certified in Pet Therapy? Would you like to spend time serving in your community alongside your furry friend? Fur-Ever Friends Volunteers provide friendly pet visits to our hospice patients and their families. Volunteers often visit multiple hospice patients during a trip to a local nursing facility. Pets must have updated vaccinations and the owner must provide copies to our hospice and possibly the nursing facility. Pets must also hold a certification in Pet Therapy.

Elara Caring Hospice is looking for individuals to join our team of volunteers!
Training provided- Several options include:
Patient Visits
Running errands for patients or caregivers
Assisting in the office
Becoming a Caring Friend
Delivering Birthday Balloons to Hospice Patients
Taking your pet to visit Hospice Patients
