French and Indian War Encampment Battle Reenactment.

The Fort at Number 4's 2017 French and Indian War Encampment is a fast paced and exciting event with British, French, Natives, Vendors/Sutlers, and 18th Century Civilians encamped at the Museum. This is a two day event, with civilian lifestyle displays, military pageantry and mock battles.

We are looking for volunteers to assist with: setting up parking lines; setting up viewing lines for battles; preparing museum buildings for living history displays; greeting and directing visitors; assist with visitor parking; greeting, signing-in, and directing reenactors; etc.

We are asking volunteers to commit a four-hour block of time on for any one of three days (Friday, June 2; Saturday, June 2; Sunday, June 3). Volunteers will receive a two-day pass to review and enjoy the encampment (or another time as the volunteer may wish).
