WELLNESS ENTHUSIASTS
If you love to help and inspire others to reach their weight, health and sports goals, if you want to make an impact and be part of something bigger than yourself, then we'd like to invite you to explore what it takes to become a Wellness Coach. You must be a student and live in the Coachella Valley Cities to include: La Quinta, Palm Desert, Palm Springs, Rancho Mirage, Cathedral City, Coachella Indio, Indian Wells and Desert Hot Springs. This is a Flexible Volunteer opportunity for people who have a passion to help others and a positive attitude. No experience Necessary, We'll Train You.
Teach and inspire others to live a healthy and active lifestyle, and become the best version of you in the process.
Help to run wellness peer support groups, workshops and lifestyle events.
Our "Be the WE in Wellness" initiative is to help make wellness a norm in schools, jobs and low-income communities.
Must be teachable.
Have a "no problem" attitude.
Must have fun and keep it simple.
Must be happy to work both alone and in a team, with little to no supervision.
Must follow a schedule and methods of operation around your school schedule.

Mission Statement
"Wellness--helping people improve their quality of life through the implementation of the 8 Dimensions of being-well; (Emotional, Environmental, Financial, Intellectual, Occupational, Physical, Social and Spiritual.) Our objectives are being met through the innovative and strategic placement of "Pop-Up" service clinics throughout the Inland Empire, by providing onsite access help to create a platform for Youth, Women and People with "diverse-abilities" and introduce whole-wellness options.

THE EIGHT believes in a world in which ALL people are treated with respect and dignity, as well as valued and rewarded fairly for their skills, talents and labor. We also believe in the extraordinary power of the arts and technology as a unifying language of communication and a vehicle of integration for organic learning and creative entrepreneurship.
We partner with community stakeholders and virtual wellness enthusiasts in order to connect Life changing Opportunities and People in Need.
THE EIGHT logo reflects the 8 dimensions of Wellness as a wheel. The wellness wheel shows how the dimensions work together. Like a bike wheel, if all of the spokes or dimensions are functioning at optimal levels, the wheel rolls along smoothly. If however, one of the spokes or dimensions becomes weak or if the tire loses air, the wheel will run off course.
THE EIGHT programs/aspects and activities are part of the whole--they are integrated, creative efforts that put forth a cohesive, community effort that not only educate and fights poverty but obesity and disease as well. THE EIGHT is a "Wellness Hub"--it is multi-dimensional and holistic, encompassing occupational, intellectual, social, financial, physical, emotional, the environment and spiritual well-being.
