The Albany Pink Walk for Cancer is a 5K walk benefitting The Albany Pink Crisis Fund through Phoebe Foundation. The Albany Pink Crisis Fund has been established to assist patients with female-related cancers with past due rent/mortgage, utilities, child care, pain and nausea medications, and transportation to/from treatments.
Volunteers are required in order to set up, organize, and maintain the event for up to 1500 participants. Volunteers are needed in shifts, depending upon service area, from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Our mission for Albany Pink is to provide support and encouragement to breast cancer patients and their families, while paying tribute to those who have lost the battle against this deadly disease.
Description
Albany Pink began in 2012 by employees of BMW of Albany after seeing a need for this within our local community. This event has grown from approximately 200 to 900 in just three short years!
