Volunteers Enhance City Parks!

Join Councilmember Donald Rocha, the District 9 team, and other great volunteers to help beautify Kirk Park in District 9!

Participate by volunteering on projects such as litter clean-up, painting, landscaping, and other activities. Get to know the neighbors and give back to our community!

Please register and help spread the word by sharing this event with your friends and family. This event will be held rain or shine.

Volunteers under 18 years of age must have their consent form signed by a parent/guardian.

Students can earn community service hours by volunteering at this event.

Please wear closed-toe shoes and bring a filled water bottle.

The mission of the Volunteer Management Unit is to create and support opportunities for community participation, in partnership with staff, which support successful completion of projects and programs to enhance the maintenance of public parks and the delivery of services for the benefit of the public.

Description

The City of San Jose Parks, Recreation & Neighborhood Services Division's Volunteer Management Unit serves the community by providing meaningful, safe and inspiring volunteer projects for those that enjoy the healthy benefits of environmental and community service.
