Whole Foods in Palm Desert is holding a donation event where 5% of the profit will go directly to SafeHouse of The Desert, a center for youth in crisis.
We are seeking volunteers to help us with being booth representatives. We are looking for energetic and passionate individuals who can help spread the message on the vitals services that we provide to youth in the valley.
Duties include sitting/standing by the SafeHouse booth and talking to people as they come in.
The shifts are only 2-3 hours during lunch and after work. If you can only make one of the shifts please let us know because we could use your help and if you can make both then awesome.
We are looking for regular volunteers that we can train, BUT if you are only available on one occasion that works as well :)

Operation SafeHouse, with community support, provides emergency shelter, intervention and outreach services to runaway, homeless, and other youth in crisis. SafeHouse Offers youth positive alternatives to becoming victims of the streets.
Description
We are a shelter for youth at risk, in crisis, or a runaway. SafeHouse of the Desert will provide a critical alternative to young people whose lives are in turmoil. We have a 3 or 4 week program. Our 4 week program is our drug and alcohol program. Our goal is to keep the family unit together.
Age range is from 11 to 17.
