Here's What it's All About:

We are starting MDA's iconic St. Patrick's Day fundraiser which raised over $500,000 for the Houston office last year alone and WE NEED YOUR HELP to raise another half a million this year!! The Shamrocks program is supported by more than 25,000 retailers in hometowns across America to bring strength, independence and life to kids and adults with muscular dystrophy and related life-threatening diseases.

Here's How it Works:

Customers purchase a paper MDA shamrock at checkout for $1, $5 or a larger contribution to help individuals live longer and grow stronger. MDA provides all materials to participating retailers, including the paper shamrocks for customers and employees to put their name on to display after making a donation.

Here's What You'll Do:

We need [SH]ambassadors to help keep the momentum of shamrock sales going by keeping cashiers engaged & excited about selling! We want to consistently keep MDA’s presence across our stores and let them know that we are connected. To achieve this you will be making visits to participating stores two or four times throughout the entire program to MOTIVATE, THANK & PROVIDE t-shirts and/or other gifts for cashiers which will be provided by MDA . You will also receive some of your own goodies! Brief training will be provided for sh-ambassadors .

I'm In! When is it ?

Choose your own time ! Visit time and store locations will be left at your discretion based on what is convenient for you. Visit duration is short and may last anywhere between 10-20 minutes depending on how long you can stay. Program begins February 20 th through March 31 st .

Service Hours Round-Up!

This is an excellent opportunity for students to receive service hours. Even better, if your visit lasts 10 or 20 minutes the service hours recorded, will be rounded up to the hour, eventually helping you get to your service hours goal even quicker!
