Are you a friendly and outgoing person who is free on Mondays or Thursday afternoons? Are you comfortable answering phones and helping with office tasks? We are looking for a regular front desk volunteer at our Habitat office in Renton and we could use your help.
Responsibilities:
- Answering and forwarding phone calls.
- Greeting visitors and directing them to staff.
- Helping with other office tasks including data entry, mailings, and other administrative projects.
Training and Benefits: This is a great way to learn about how Habitat works, from behind the scenes. We will train you and you will get great database experience along the way. There is free parking and all the Starbuck’s coffee you can drink too! You will get valuable experience with one of the most admired nonprofits in the world and know you are supporting affordable housing right here in your community. We’ll even throw in a Habitat T-shirt!
When: We are hoping to find a regular weekly volunteer who can come Mondays and or Wednesdays for a full day shift from 9:30 am until 4:30 pm. If you can join us for all or part of one these days, please contact us! We’d love to talk to you about it!

Description
Habitat for Humanity of Seattle-King County works to eliminate substandard housing through constructing, renovating and preserving homes; by advocating for fair and just housing policies; and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their shelter conditions.
