On Thursday, September 28, 2017 at the Jericho Terrace in Mineola, NY, i Am My Sister will have the pleasure of honoring individuals, organizations and corporations that are creatively empowering youth as leaders and change agents at our "United to Inspire" Awards and Fundraising Gala.
We will celebrate community influencers that have inspired youth to pursue their passions while making a significant impact in their community and/or respective professional fields, all while raising money to keep the movement going.
WE NEED YOUR HELP!
i Am My Sister is looking for several COMMITTED gala planning committee members to help with all the planning details of the event. This is our largest fundraiser of the year; 100% of the proceeds are used to implement programs in the local community.
The planning committee is broken into three sub-committees:
Event Committee: Handles all logistics of the evening
Printing and Promotions Committee: Handles all event materials as well as event marketing and communications
Sponsor Committee: Handles logistics associated with sponsors and sponsorships
Time commitments varies per committee as well as meeting locations. If you are unable to sit on a committee, but would like to be a volunteer the night of the Gala we welcome you!
