The National Alliance for the Advancement of Haitian Professionals (NAAHP) is looking for an exceptional individual to serve as Fundraising and Donor Relations Coordinator. Duties include assisting with fundraising programs and plans to assist us in reaching our fundraising goals. The Coordinator collaborates with the Executive Management Team to fulfill NAAHP's mission. The Fundraising and Donor Relations Coordinator reports to the Director of Operations.
- Responsible for the review and control of all gift acknowledgments, including receipts, thank you letters and more.
- Assists with questions and concerns in regards to fundraisers.
- Ensures special events are on the calendar.
- Assists the monthly giving program.
- Assists with strategic plans to raise funds for the organization in a time-efficient manner.
- Delivers organized, structured, and persuasive presentations, using effective written and verbal communication.
- Establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with sponsors to meet business objectives.
- Performs administrative task.
- Assists with fundraising events online.
- Works closely with the marketing department to advertise events.
- Performs additional tasks as assigned by the Director of Fundraising and Donor Relations.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience working in a nonprofit organization.
- Fundraising Experiences.
- Experience having worked with collaborative and constructive peer group.
- Highly organized with ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively with multiple individuals.
- Comfortable with working in a virtual environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Must be highly organized.
- Ability to write and edit clear, engaging, and grammatically.
