ORGANIZATION: LAZARUS HOUSE MINISTRIES

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.
  • 4 people are interested

Lazarus House runs a program called Budget Buddies that offers financial education to low-income women to help with specific financial issues that keep them from overcoming poverty. We are looking for 2-4 volunteers to babysit between 10-18 children while their mothers attend these financial literature seminars from 6-8pm on Wednesday evenings from mid-March through the end of August at Capernaum Place in Lawrence. At least one volunteer will have to pass a CORI check and be over 18 years old. By no means would volunteers be expected to take the entire time frame as we are looking for a few different "teams" of volunteers to share the load.
