The Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America is a national non-profit with the mission to find a cure for Crohn's Disease and ulcerative colitis. 82 cents of every dollar we raise goes towards funding research for a cure for these diseases. We depend on our volunteers to make sure that we are able to dedicate our time and energy to make this dream a reality.
- We're looking for some volunteers to come into our office to help with a variety of office tasks, including: stuffing envelopes, making phone calls, preparing materials for events, drafting acknowledgement letters, and so much more.
- Work with staff to effectively promote events via media and social media channels
We could use help on a weekly basis. If you are interested in ONLY one part of the volunteer work we are happy to focus your projects on your interests. Please drop us a line and let us know more about your areas of interest, and why you are interested in working with us to create a world free from IBD.

Description
The Crohn's & Colitis Foundation is a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization dedicated to finding the cures for Crohn's Disease and ulcerative colitis. It was founded in 1967 by Irwin M. and Suzanne Rosenthal, William D. and Shelby Modell, and Henry D. Janowitz, M.D. Since our founding over four decades ago, CCFA has remained at the forefront of research in Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. Today, we fund cutting-edge studies at major medical institutions, nurture investigators at the early stages of their careers, and finance underdeveloped areas of research. In addition, our educational workshops and programs, along with our scientific journal, Inflammatory Bowel Diseases, enable medical professionals to keep pace with this rapidly growing field. We are very proud that the National Institutes of Health has commended us for "uniting the research community and strengthening IBD research."
