Here at Rising Tide TEC, we rely on our amazing volunteers for leading and sidewalking on lessons, eqine care, barn chores, feeding horses, fundraising and events, repair & maintenance, graphic and web design, office support, board recruitment and many more varied projects. Our opportunities take as little as an half hour to a few hours to complete. We have something for everyone!
You don't need to know anything about horses! We will traing you in whatever you need to know to be around them! You just need to love them! If you are timid about being around them, we will be right there with you, or you can volunteer for the numerous tasks that need doing behind the scenes.
We change peoples lives. We give them an opportunity to feel safe and free with horses. If you want to see more of what we do and be a part of our mission and vision, we'd love to have you.
Being on Martha's Vineyard, we have seasonal changes. We have a lot of programming in the summer, and need a lot more volunteers. We have folks volunteer that are just visiting for a week, a month, or the summer season. Our winter programming is much less, but the need for volunteers is still there!

Mission Statement
To improve the lives of physically, mentally, emotionally, and learning disabled children and adults through interactions with horses.
Description
We are a PATH certified 501 (c)(3) non-profit therapeutic riding center. We work to extend the boundaries and limits placed on disabled people and help them experience the numerous benefits of working with horses. We depend on volunteers for 80% of our work, and the community for over 50% of our funding. We help make miracles happen!
