About

We have a few spaces left for volunteers looking to travel to Lumberton, North Carolina to help with hurricane recovery efforts. Our first group will arrive in Lumberton on March 19th. Our second group arrives on March 26. The participation fees (which include double-occupancy accommodations at the Fairfield Inn, all meals while volunteering, and transportation during the week) are $450...completely tax ductible under #170 of the IRS code. The groups will take part in 'mucking out houses' to prepare them for drying out and in re-construction of those houses. Do you have construction skills? An avid home remodeler? A demolition 'expert'? What about the physical ability to help where needed? If any of these apply to you, please consider applying with us.
