ChickTech is dedicated to retaining women in the technology workforce and increasing the number of women and girls pursuing technology-based careers.

We are looking for a qualified Content Manager to help us c reate the digital footprint of our chapter, and attract support and attendance of our events.

You will be responsible for creating and improving content on our social media and website. You will collaborate with the communication team to share content and raise brand awareness.

Our ideal volunteer is an experienced professional

  • with demonstrable creative writing skills
  • experience in story tellling and interviews (Women in Tech, High School Girls...)
  • Excellent ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Experience with either nonprofits and/or the tech field

Description

ChickTech is a multi-generational community helping each other become technology creators. We facilitate hands-on technology-centric events and mentorship to empower, support, and increase the confidence of girls, women, and non-binary folks. Through our programs, we build community, empower participants to see themselves as leaders, and provide networking and mentoring opportunities in the rapidly growing tech industry.

As a mostly volunteer-run non-profit, we are always searching for partners who would like to get involved through donations of expertise, volunteer time, in-kind, funding, or just by helping to get the word out.
