Hospice & Palliative Care of Tidewater is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to serving those living with a life-limiting illness. Our hospice volunteers are an integral part of our care team and can serve in numerous ways to make a significant difference in the lives of others. We are looking for volunteers to see our Norfolk patients....they could really use a little TLC!
These are only a few of the ways you can get involved. We offer full training and support.
· Sit and chat with patients who may be lonely or need a friendly visit
· Provide some relief sitting to help a caregiver attend appointments and take a much needed break.
· Help in the office with a variety of administrative duties
· Help with event planning
· Have a therapy dog? If so, we would love to hear from you!
If you are compassionate, caring, integrity based, we would love to have you on our team!
Email or call Keith at 757-439-6191 for more information. Please leave a contact name and phone number.
Volunteers are unpaid for their service, not because they are worthless, but because they are priceless.
