Save Lives, fulfill yours, volunteer today!

We Need Your Ideas and Passion!

Did you know that our community Making Strides event has an amazing group of volunteers working behind the scenes engaging others in our walk and planning a impactful and fun event? They need your help to continue to do this.

We are looking to expand the Event Leadership Team (ELT) to include volunteers from all parts of our community, Calhoun County. Whether you are an experienced team leader, first time walker, or someone just finding out about this event, we can use your ideas and talents. Join us at our ELT Open House Meeting on Tuesday, February 28, 5:30 p.m., at the Bronson Battle Creek Cancer Care Center. No matter your availability, you can make a big impact. Come find out how you can help achieve our mission to save lives, celebrate lives, and lead the fight for a world without breast cancer.

"I volunteer on the Making Strides committee because I don't want any more family members or friends hearing the words 'you have breast cancer'. We must find a cure, and my mission is to do all I can to make that happen by raising funds to fight back against cancer!" - Joy Sommers, 2017 ELT Co-Lead
