Facebook Message Manager for K9 Protective Vests
Nationwide non-profit is seeking several Facebook Message Managers to volunteer from home. Hours are flexible (days/evenings/weekends)
Single or multiple shifts available: Mon-Fri 2pm-6pm, Sat. 8am-4pm, Mon, Tues, Thurs & Fri. 7pm-11pm.
This unique role serves as the liaison between social media fans, donors, the organization and law enforcement officers.
This would be a rewarding position for an animal lover and those who support law enforcement.
Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. is a 501c(3) non profit organization whose mission is to provide bullet and stab protective vests and other assistance to dogs of law enforcement and other related agencies throughout the country. We have proudly provided over 2300 ballistic vests to law enforcement dogs in 50 states at a cost of 1.9 million dollars.
Candidate would be responsible to communicate utilizing the non profit business facebook page utilizing confidential messaging.
We are seeking a reliable individual with strong interpersonal skills.
The ideal professional would possess initiative to act on opportunities, be a good team player with a sense of humor and positive outlook.
Must be proficient in facebook communication.
A mobile device (smart phone), laptop and/or desktop computer is required along with an active facebook account.
All potential candidates are subject to a background check.

Since 2009, our organization has donated:
- More than 4,481 K9 ballistic vests
- 1,800 K9 opioid reversal NARCAN Kits
- More than $218,000 of K9 medical insurance premiums through our Healthcare for K9 Heroes program
- Over $93,000 in K9 medical first aid kits
- Three Chevy Tahoe patrol vehicles custom fitted for a K9 Unit valued at over $50,000 each
- One Advanced Canine Medical Trainer (K9 Diesel) a full-body state-of-the-art skills trainer for canine first responders that simulates active breathing, audio queues and over 28 different features and medical intervention sites at $62,000
All of our programs are made possible with funds raised through contributions, grants and fundraising events.
