These dedicated women and men have completed extensive training and serve in a variety of critical roles. Volunteers, who have direct contact with the patients, receive a minimum of nine hours of classroom instruction and complete approximately 16 hours of in-house training. They are then mentored by staff and experienced volunteers as they learn to coordinate patient activities. These volunteers are required to be involved in continuing education as long as they serve at the center.
Other volunteers, who work in supportive roles, are trained based on their assignments. Some of our volunteers use their professional skills, but all use their God-given gifts in ministering to our patients. Won’t you consider a 4-hour shift? Opportunities include:

The Pregnancy Resource Center of Gwinnett’s mission is "to protect the gift of human life."
Description
Welcome to the Pregnancy Resource Center of Gwinnett (PRCG). We are a non-profit faith-based ministry which exists for the benefit of women and their children, both born and unborn, as well as to the fathers who wish to be involved. The PRCG strives to meet the needs of women at risk of an unintentional or crisis pregnancy, with the full affirmation of the sanctity of human life and marriage. The PRCG is a non-profit, licensed medical clinic and pregnancy counseling organization staffed by professional and peer personnel and trained volunteers.Our work includes providing broad-based support to the woman who faces an unplanned pregnancy, is hurting from a previous abortion, or is in need of sexual/relational guidance. Likewise, support is available for the father. The PRCG is a self-governing, evangelical Christian ministry enjoying the support of volunteers, staff, Board of Directors, and churches of many denominations. As a non-profit, non-political organization, the PRCG is funded entirely by private donations and, in recent years, small grants.
Since 1991 the PRCG has been a safe haven for women and their families from the metro Atlanta and north Georgia area. The Center serves clients from Gwinnett, Dekalb, Fulton, Rockdale, Hall, Forsyth, Walton, Cobb, Henry, Newton, Douglas, and Cherokee counties as well as further outlying areas.
