About

Who you are:

You are an aspiring software engineer and quick study, comfortable learning new development languages, tools, and technology. You can work well in a team but can also put on headphones and power ahead on a challenge. You not only talk the talk of a developer but can also explain to non-developers what your work means and how it impacts users. You’re open to new projects, new ideas, and excited about figuring out first-to-market solutions for a rewarding data-intensive domain.

You'll be essential in building and scaling the products, services and APIs that power Rare Genomics research. You could be working on our patient or researcher facing interfaces, internal systems, help spec and design new products and features, or improve our core abilities. Most of our systems are written in Python, Ruby, or Javascript. We're a small team, conscious of encouraging a productive and rewarding culture of inclusivity, diversity and fun, with opportunities to grow and shape the role and organization.
