Camp 4 Kids is an accredited summer camp through the American Camping Association and is growing each year. We are looking for a select few to join our senior staff as camp counselors. We are based out of Orange County, CA and attend YMCA Camp Oakes in beautiful Big Bear, CA. The camp dates are July 22 - 29, 2017. Counselors serve as the leader of a cabin of 10-12 campers for the full week of camp. Training dates are TBD, however, they total 16-20 hours and run from May through July. This trainings occur in Orange County and are mandatory. Previous experience with children is preferred but not necessary. We are seeking counselors in the age range of 18-24. Both males and females are needed. This volunteer opportunity would be perfect for anyone looking for experience in the education field or similar. Please see www.camp4kids.org for more details.

Description
Camp 4 Kids is a recognized 501(c)3 organization run entirely by volunteers. We are a summer camp based out of Orange County, CA. We attend camp at YMCA Camp Oakes in Big Bear, CA.
Camp 4 Kids, provides a nurturing environment for campers, enhancing their sense of competence and self-worth.
Our goal is to help each camper develop the follo wing:
