Lenox Hill Neighborhood Hosue, widely recognized as one of New York's premier human services providers, is a 123 year old settlement house that provides an extensive array of integrated and effective services which significantly improve the lives of 20,000 people in need each year on the East Side of Manhattan. We are seeking volunteers to be a part of our exciting, fast-paced live auction held during our annual Spring Gala at Cipriani 42. Volunteers will work as a team throughout the venue to help our professional auctioneer identify when guests attending the event have placed bids on items. All proceeds from auction sales benefit programs at Lenox Hill Neighborhhod House. Volunteers are needed on Tuesday, April 18, 9:00pm-10:00pm. Cipriani 42 is located at the corner of 42nd Street and Lexington Avenue in Manhattan.

Lenox Hill Neighborhood House, widely recognized as one of New York's premier human services providers, is a 130-year-old settlement house that provides an extensive array of effective and integrated services--social, educational, legal, health, housing, mental health, nutritional and fitness--which significantly improve the lives of 15,000 people in need each year, ages 3 to 103, on the East Side of Manhattan. Our clients include older adults, homeless and formerly homeless adults, children and families, recent immigrants, disabled persons, adult learners and thousands more. Description
Lenox Hill Neighborhood House was founded in 1894 by the Alumnae Association of Normal College (now known as Hunter College of the City University of New York) as a free kindergarten for the children of indigent immigrants. Since then, we have remained at the forefront of community advocacy and social and educational change.
