Neighborhood Youth Association is looking for someone to assist with Computer Programming lessons at their Pico Gramercy location. Volunteer only needs a working knowledge of coding to assist low-income and at-risk elementary school students.

One hour a week for the duration of the school year.

The Neighborhood Youth Association provides at risk youth from low income homes a comprehensive set of educational enhancement services in a sustained, focused manner over the critical years of their lives so that they may successfully reach a productive adulthood.

Description

NYA offers services that are long term and concentrated, adapted to meet the individual needs of each child and are measured against tangible goals. We have locations in Venice, Mar Vista (West LA), Downtown LA, Mid-City, and South LA/Harbor Gateway.
