Thirty-two high school robotics teams come together to compete for awards and honors in the 2017 FIRST Steamworks game. Volunteers are needed to help with all aspects of the event. Currently we need ushers, assistants for the front lobby, pit administration and general event volunteers.

Description
Through the FIRST programs of FIRST LEGO League (Discover, Explore and Challenge), FIRST Tech Challenge and FIRST Robotics Competition, FIRST North Carolina supports teams and students in their participation. These programs offer youth a hands-on, mentor-based, project based on real world challenges and science. Students are eligible to apply for over $30 million in scholarships to enable them to continue to pursue their STEM passions.
