ORGANIZATION: Thomas Jefferson Elementary School

Test monitors, also referred to as proctors, observe in an elementary classroom during State Testing. Volunteers attend a brief training session prior to their volunteer experience. Monitors are expected to observe students in the classroom during the testing period making sure proper test proticol is observed. Additional expectations may include helping the teacher pass out or take up testing materials, pass out pencils, and stay with the class throughout the entire testing session. Each testing session is approximately 2 1/2 hours. Volunteers must be 18 years or older, and no experience is necessary. Your time is needed and greatly appreciated!
