*On-going opportunity, committee will meet monthly in Des Moines, the rest will be done on your own time.*
The National Kidney Foundation is implementing a Gala as a pre-event to the golf classic in 2017. The gala will be hosted at Willis Auto Campus at the end of August. It is not a requirement to attend the gala if the date does not end up working for you, however we are looking for individuals who are able to attend committee meetings and assist with the planning and marketing process. The gala is newly implented fundraiser and we are looking for a strong committee to help build ideas and lead the event. We will be developing ideas such as: theme, decoration, catering specifics, fundraising ideas, raffle/auction, mission moments, and more! If you are a fundraiser, event planner, marketer, somewhere in between, or just a good person who wants to help, email us today!
(All proceeds raised during the Gala will be used to help raise awareness, prevention, and treatment of kidney disease. The money raised will allow the NKF to provide support to the community locally through free kidney (KEEP) screenings, patient awareness, and education.)

Description
The National Kidney Foundation offers free health screenings for kidney disease, public and professional education programs, advocacy to make patients' voices heard through legislative action, and a vital research program to identify new clinical treatments. The NKF achieves life-saving results today through the contributions of a generous public including participation in NKF signature initiatives such as Kidney Cars Vehicle Donation program, Kidney Walks, and the NKF Golf Classic.
