This is a 21 hour training which will meet on 2 Tuesday evenings and 2 Saturday morings. Volunteers will be trained in basic preparedness, fire extinguisher use, disaster medical operations, light search and rescue, incidenct command systems, disaster psychology, and terrorism.
This class ends with a hands on demonstration of what the students have learned throughout their tenure (date to be determined).
All students recieve a response bag which inlcudes preparedness items and response tools/equipment.
This is a national effort under the FEMA/Citiznes Corp umbrella.
