ORGANIZATION: National MS Society - Greater Carolinas Chapter

Each year, thousands of people across the country join the Walk MS volunteer team. From serving on planning committees and calling past participants to providing safety and support for walkers at the event, volunteers make Walk MS happen, and are the foundation of why Walk MS is the inspiring event it is.

Walk MS: Winston-Salem is a vibrant and fun walk/run that starts at Bridger Field House and goes around BB&T Field at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem. There is music, fun, and lunch is provided for all volunteers.

Below are the volunteer positions curently available for this event along with their hours:

Set-Up 6:30am-9:00am

Mark Route 6:00am-9:00am

Decorate 7:00am-9:00am

Parking Attendant 7:30am-11:00am

Volunteer Check-In 6:30am-11:00am

Registration 7:30am-10:00am

T-shirt Distribution 8:30am-10:00am

Rest Stop Crew 8:45am-12:00pm

Lunch 10:00am-2:00pm

Medic 8:00am-1:00pm

Unmark Route 12:00pm-1:30pm

Finish Line Cheering 10:30am-12:30pm

Photographer 8:30am-1:00pm

MS stops people from moving. The National MS Society exists to make sure it doesn’t. The Greater Carolinas Chapter, with offices located in Raleigh, Greensboro, and Charlotte, NC, serves over 18,000 individuals affected by MS in North and South Carolina. We help each person address the challenges of living with MS and raise funds for MS research. Our vision is a World Free of MS!
