This is a wonderful opportunity to gain experience in the field of healthcare and hospice. The skills you learn here can be transferred to many types of jobs and will look great on a resume! This is a great opportunity for a retired person or a person with daytime availability.
As an Administrative Volunteer you will be trained in the office setting assisting in providing the needed hospice services to our patients.
- Preparation and assembly of admission packets
- Preparation and assembly of volunteer orientation materials
- Assisting with volunteer recruitment and education
- Assisting with various office functions
- Assisting with bereavement mailings
- And much more!
Flexible hours during the work week, Monday to Friday. The office is open 8am to 4:30pm. A commitment of 2-4 hours per week.
NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY, TRAINING PROVIDED!
Required hospice training must be completed before beginning to volunteer. Medical requirements, TB testing, drug screening, all provided at no charge to the volunteers.
If you have experience a personal loss within the last 12 months, it is requested you wait at least 12 months from your loss before volunteering in hospice.
