Girls Youth Basketball is currently seeking a volunteer to assist with researching and applying for grant opportunities. The ideal candidate is a recent graduate or retired grant writing professional who is looking to assist a growing organization with their skill set and time.
The duties included in this position are as follows:
- Continuous research to identify upcoming granting opportunities
- Applying for granting opportunities
- Managing all granting opportunities from beginning to end

Description
Girls Youth Basketball (GYB) is a non profit organization (501c3) solely made to focus on the growth of girls youth basketball. Girls simply do not receive the same positive reinforcement in sports as boys do. At GYB we aim to develop basketball skills, sportsmanship and self esteem through our coaches, gym officials and organizers. Our coaches will teach players of all positions and levels to play smart basketball, be coaches on the court, and to become leaders on and off the court.
