Mission Statement

Black, Latino, and Asian Americans will soon make up the majority of Georgia's population. New Georgia Project exists to register all eligible people of color in Georgia and increase their civic engagement and participation in elections.

Description

Today, half of Georgia's public school children are children of color, and in the coming decade, people of color will make up the majority of the population. Yet, people of color are vastly underrepresented in Georgia's democracy.

That is why we are here.

The New Georgia Project (NGP) is a nonpartisan, civic engagement organization focused on registering, engaging and advocating for the New American Majority - African Americans, Latinos, and Asian Americans. Georgia is growing, changing and facing many challenges. The New Georgia Project exists to address these changes.
