Do you have a knowledge and passion for history? Do you love sharing your knowledge and want to continue learning more? Then Battleship TEXAS State Historic Site's Interpretive Volunteer position is the perfect fit for you!

Battleship TEXAS is looking for individuals with public speaking, teaching, and/or docent experience, stellar customer service skills, and a love for state parks to:

*Support the Ship Interpreter with educational programs and tours,
*Lead guided tours for visitors, including large school groups, and
*Provide information and assistance to all ship visitors.

Volunteers will receive training in interpretation and access to resources and tools to continue to learn about the ship. Positions are available throughout the week.

An interview with park staff and criminal background check are required.
