We are seeking a volunteer who has a desire to help provide diapers to low-income mothers in need. This volunteer will help us in identifying diaper drive locations, setting up the drive, and tracking the success. It is anticipated that the job will require 6-8 hours a month, including at least 2 hours in our Waukegan office each month.
The Lake County Diaper Depot supports the mission of Catholic Charities by supplementing the supply of clean diapers for families in need. Volunteers play a key role in implementing Catholic Charities’ Diaper Depot in Lake County by providing ongoing support to project operations.Requirements include:
- Connection with Catholic Charities and Diaper Depot mission
- Excellent organization skills and ability to track diaper drives and inventory
- Computer experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- A car and a valid driver's license
- Previous experience with marketing, sales or coordinating fundraising efforts is a plus
