Institute for Creative Community Initiatives (ICCI) is seeking candidates for a Board of Directors member position. This position requires a highly motivated, enthusiastic, passionate, and diligent individual with an interest in community health and well-being.

ICCI is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth, young adults, and families in vulnerable communities to address issues confronting their well-being through innovative and sustainable strategies that focus on adopting healthy lifestyles. ICCI provides excellent empowerment services in three key areas: 1.) Health Solutions for Diverse Populations, 2.) Economic Empowerment Education and Training and 3.) Youth, Young Adult, and Family Outreach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide organizational direction and support, potentially including:

  • Friend Raising

  • Grant Writing

  • Partnership Development

  • Organizational Development and Governance

  • Program Evaluation

  • Media & Public Relations

  • Education & Instruction

  • Workforce Development

  • Special Events

  • Management / Operations

  • Outreach, Advocacy and Community Service

Requirements

• Dedication to creating change in our community and positively impacting lives in our community

• Participation in quarterly meetings, conference calls, committees, Empowerment Movement and some special events/programs

• Grant writing and Bi-lingual abilities are a plus, but not required

• Experience in Fundraising, Philanthropy, Media, Public Relations, Workforce Development and Special Events are a plus, but not required
