Beat the rain and cycle indoors with Outdoors for All this spring! Volunteers will ride as tandem bike captains for individuals with Parkinson’s in this one-of-a-kind spin class. All cycles will be set-up on indoor trainers. Volunteers should have some cycling experience, and should be able to hold a consistent cadence at easy to moderate resistance for about one-hour.

Full-time volunteers are expected to support all 8-weeks of this series (April 4 - May 23). Substitute volunteer will fill-in, as needed, for any planned or unplanned absences.

There is a mandatory volunteer training on Tuesday, March 28 from 10-11am in The Brig at Magnuson Park.

The Parkinson's Tandem Cycling program is co-sponsored by UW Dept of Rehab Medicine and Seattle Parks - Lifelong Recreation.
