This is an exciting opportunity for adults age 18 and older looking to gain valuable event coordination experience to build their resume or for those who just want to join a great team! The Volunteer Events Team assists our Events Staff in producing fun and engaging events that support Woodland Park Zoo and its mission to save wildlife and their habitats.
Love events? Love animals? If both of these appeal to you, consider applying to the Woodland Park Zoo Volunteer Program to help support zoo events! We are looking for individuals who are interested in joining the Volunteer Events Team to help with a variety of events at Woodland Park Zoo including ZooTunes, Brew at the Zoo, Tasting Flight, etc. Our Volunteer Events Team Leads assists Events Staff with a variety of event coordination duties including volunteer operations, guest crowd control, and other guest and volunteer needs at specific events throughout the year. You’ll Interact with and provide customer service to guests, staff, vendors, and volunteers and assist in event planning, set-up and tear-down as needed.
Requirements: All prospective volunteers must apply for and be accepted into the Woodland Park Zoo Volunteer Program, complete Zoo Ambassador training and meet all zoo volunteer requirements before applying for this specialty position.
