The Providence YMCA is hosting their third annual senior prom which is open to all area older adults. This is a completlely volunteer run event and the seniors have worked hard all year to raise money for decorations, music, and light snacks and treats. Every year the event grows larger and larger with several senior living facilities busing in their residents this year and they are very excited about this years theme Putting on the Ritz.
We are currently looking for a volunteer photographer to take portraits at the senior prom. This doesn't mean you need to be expert photographer, but having your own camera and ability to keep track of who's picture is who's would be a requirement. The seniors have really treasured thier portraits in the past and we would love to find a photograph to help document fond memories this year.
The Prom will be held Friday, April 7th 5-8pm
