Volunteers are needed at The Open Door to help at their Eagan Pantry and with the Mobile Pantry program.
Immediate volunteer posts to fill are Retail Rescue Drivers, Client Attendants, Shoppers and Mobile Pantry Drivers.Using The Open Door vehicles, Retail Rescue Drivers go out mornings to local grocery stores and pick up food donations. No special license is needed. Client Attendants set up food appointments, make reminder calls, and work face to face with clients at The Open Door. The Mobile Pantry program’s shoppers meet the Mobile Pantry bus at the distribution site and help clients choose and bag their choices. Mobile Pantry Drivers take the Mobile Pantry back and forth from the site and no special license is needed.
