Volunteers are vital to the lives of homeless and neglected pets in Durham County.
The Animal Protection Society of Durham is in need of volunteers to socialize, feed, and clean up after our adoptable cats while they patiently wait for their forever homes. Hours are flexible, with slots offered 7 days per week.
Cat care volunteers will expect to attend a 1 hour general orientation session, followed by a 1-2 hour cat-specific training session, before they can jump in and get to the fun stuff: the cats!
Cat volunteers must be 15 or older to work independently.
