UR Medicine Home Care, Visiting Nurse Hospice offers caring and comfort through life's final stage. Dying and death present terminally-ill individuals, their families and caregivers many new and difficult challenges. At the same time there are opportunities for compassion, growth and understanding unmatched at any other life stage. The Visiting Nurse Hospice and Palliative Care Program supports patients and their loved ones throughout this most difficult time, providing professional home care that meets both medical and emotional needs, promoting as full and comfortable a life as possible.
