At the end of the summer internship, each intern will receive a letter of completion reflecting their participation and completion of 180 hours of service to the Dallas community. Often, they will also recieve written reccomendations from their supervisor and, if appropriate, JFS staff.
Interns are chosen through a competitive process involving a written application and in-person interview. Students from all Dallas Metroplex high schools are invited to apply. Students are selected based on merit-without regard to religion, race, or ethnicity.
